The Jacksonville Airport Authority has named two finalists for the airport director position at Jacksonville International (JAX).
Colin Lowndes is senior director of airports for Vancouver Airport Services; Steve Grossman is director of Aviation at Oakland International (OAK).
Both candidates will be returning to the airport for a final interview the week of June 13. Interviews will be conducted by a search committee, made up of four JAX board members. A recommendation will go before the full board for a final vote July 27.
The finalists were culled from a list of eight candidates provided by an executive search firm.
