The Orange County Board of Supervisors has chosen three new food and beverage and dining establishments to join the mix at the Thomas F. Riley Terminal at John Wayne (JWA) in 2011.
“This is an important first step in our plan to bring JWA passengers an exciting and diverse mix of concessions into the Riley Terminal,” says Airport Director Alan Murphy. “We know passengers want both quality and variety in their food and retail options and we are committed to providing them with both.”
In the new Terminal C centralized food and retail area, guests will find Caterina’s, which already has a location at the airport. The new store will offer frozen yogurt, ice cream, smoothies and pastries, as well as gluten-free products. Brands include Dreyer’s, Haagen-Dazs, YoCream Yogurt, Godiva, Jelly Belly, See’s and Ghirardelli.
Also in Terminal C, Subway make its debut at JWA, serving menu items for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Across from Gate 7 in Terminal B, Vino Volo will offer food, wine by the glass or bottle, wine tasting and bottles of wine for purchase. The concept, owned by Taste Inc., will feature an open floor plan.
The new dining options are part of a plan to modernize the existing Thomas F. Riley Terminal, including the addition of a new Terminal C, more parking, and more passenger services and amenities.
