35 Groups Draft Letter To U.S. Senate

Thirty-five aviation organizations have written a letter to the U.S. Senate asking members to pass a bill to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration, and to make it a priority. It was delivered to the full Senate on March 5.

“It is critical for Congress to recognize how important aviation is to our economy and to complete the FAA reauthorization process,” says ACI-NA President Greg Principato. “We need to ensure that our aviation system is able to grow in a safe, secure and efficient manner.”

Although each group has its own goal, they are united in that they share the desire for a multi-year FAA reauthorization legislation.

The letter can be read at http://www.aci-na.org/static/entransit/open_letter_to_senate_3-5-08.pdf.
