4 Restaurants Open At JFK Terminal 4

JFKIAT, which operates Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International (JFK), has worked with SSP America to open two new restaurants, move another to a larger location and expand a fourth popular eatery.

Shake Shack, which already had one location inside the terminal, has added a second. It offers all-natural burgers, flat-top dogs, frozen custard, shakes and other items. The other new restaurants are Camden Food Co., a market where travelers can find fresh food and quality products, and McDonald’s, which moved from a 1,200-square-foot operation to a 4,000-square-foot operation that includes a new dining room and self-serving beverage station.

Additionally, The Palm Bar & Grille expanded its physical space by 800 square feet to accommodate more travelers. It will open at 6 a.m. daily and serve passengers through a newly created breakfast menu.

A record number of air travelers is expected to pass through the terminal during the summer travel season.

“We are ecstatic about the array of premium restaurants available to terminal travelers,” says Gert-Jan de Graaff, president and CEO of JFKIAT. “Today’s airline passengers are looking for more and more out of their travel experience, and we are happy to offer the best restaurants and culinary experiences right here.”
