Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will celebrate the opening of a new 7-Eleven location this week with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Located in LAX’s Terminal 1 arrivals level, the well-known national convenience brand is operated by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and JDDA Concessions Management and will offer travelers its signature coffee, grab-and-go food, snacks and travel essentials.
“We are thrilled to announce the continuation of our partnership with 7-Eleven and URW Management,” said Jason Yoo, CEO of JDDA Concessions Management. “At JDDA Concession Management, we are committed to enhancing the travel experience for all stakeholders by transforming these spaces into premier destinations. Together, we will innovate and elevate our offerings, ensuring that every traveler enjoys convenience and quality during their journey at LAX.”
“7-Eleven sets the standard for convenience retail, and we’re thrilled to bring this popular brand to Terminal 1, providing a trusted and familiar experience for LAX guests, employees, and meeters and greeters,” added URW LAX vice president Maral Matossian. “We are equally proud to expand our partnership with JDDA Concession Management Inc., a 100% minority-owned operator, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to fostering small, local, and diverse business participation at LAX.”
“The arrival of 7-Eleven in Terminal 1’s baggage claim area brings a trusted, familiar retail option to a high-traffic location that serves multiple airport audiences,” said Dave Jones, deputy executive director of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA)’s Commercial Development Group. “This strategic placement delivers convenience not just for passengers, but also for employees and anyone waiting to welcome travelers to Los Angeles. The addition reflects our ongoing focus to provide concession options that meet the practical needs of everyone moving through LAX.”
