PIT enhances wireless

The Allegheny County Airport Authority has expanded its complimentary wireless communications services at Pittsburgh International (PIT).

The airport has also installed outlets and chairs in Concourse A for people who want to use the Wi-Fi service or charge their computers.

Wi-Fi, complete with greater bandwidth that provides more speed and reliability, is now available to anyone with a laptop or a personal digital assistant to access email, download files and surf the Internet. PIT officials believe the new services enhance an already award-winning customer service reputation.
