International Infrastructure Holdings, which is 75.1% owned by Macquarie Airports Ltd. and 24.9% owned by Macquarie Bank Ltd., increased its stake in Japan Airport Terminal Co. Ltd. to 19.0%, up from 12.5%.
The increase comes a day after the company bought an additional 5% of Brussels Airport (BRU) from the Belgian government, boosting its stake to 58.9%.
Macquarie is one of the world’s largest private owners and operators of airports. The Japan Airport Terminal owns, manages and operates the three passenger terminals at Tokyo-Haneda Airport (HND) and also operates food and beverage and merchandise business at Narita International (NRT) and Kansai International (KIX)
