InMotion Entertainment opened two new locations at Orlando International (MCO) in June, bringing its store count at the airport to four.
The company will close one of those stores, revamp it and reopen later this year and also has plans to open a store at Jacksonville International (JAX) and two at San Francisco International (SFO) by year end; those will bring the store count to seven, says Emily Marsh, a marketing assistant.
One of the most popular features at most InMotion stores has been Play Point interactive touch-screen kiosks that allow customers to interact with movies, music and games. Travelers can download the items to their portable devices, such as iPods. Many of the items are free, though “some things you do have to pay for,” Marsh says, adding that the technology will soon be available at all InMotion stores.
“Everybody loves it,” she says.
