The Massachusetts Port Authority and Westfield Concession Management will celebrate the opening of the new Terminal C food and beverage concessions program at Boston Logan International (BOS) on Wednesday.
The highlight of the program is an 11,000-sq.-ft. dining terrace, which features a garden terrace feel with Terrazzo floors, banquette couches and a blue sculpted ceiling.
New restaurants will include Currito, Burritos Without Borders (Mexican cuisine); Boston Beer Works (the oldest restaurant/brewery in Boston); and Jerry Remy’s Sports bar, named for the local sports personality. Remy is expected to be at the opening Wednesday.
“We are thrilled to bring new and exciting dining options to passengers at Logan Airport,” says Tom Kinton, chief executive officer of Massport. “We are pleased to have the second Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar location in Boston and we wish them the most success here at Logan.”
Wednesday’s events will also feature a variety of tasting stations, live cooking demonstrations and giveaways.
“We are proud to be a part of Massport’s vision to transform the Terminal C experience at Boston Logan International Airport,” says Dominic Lowe, vice president for airports of Westfield. “The new dining experience offers our customers greater choice, fresh new concepts and higher levels of service in an environment that promotes a sense of calm and relaxation.”
Also included in the new concessions program are Dunkin’ Donuts, the largest airport location in the country; Au Bon Pain; Burger King; Chocolate Bar; Famous Famiglia; and Ryo Asian Fusion.
