SSP America is bringing healthier organic alternatives and premium sandwiches to Raleigh-Durham International (RDU). Camden Food Co. and Panopolis are slated to open Oct. 25 in Terminal 2.
“We believe the impressive undertaking of the new Terminal 2 serves as the perfect venue in North America to debut our Camden Food Co. and Panopolis concepts by providing American traveling consumers with what they are demanding: genuine premium, healthy, portable food options,” said Les Cappetta, Chief Executive Officer of SSP America.
Camden Food Co. offers a variety of organic, fair trade and low-fat choices. Most of its sandwiches, salads and snacks are made with authentic ingredients; the menu
features items like turkey avocado on labaccia bread, hummus crunch vegetable wraps,
prosciutto and mozzarella salads and strawberry fruit smoothies, as well as fair trade and organic cappuccinos and coffees. In addition, it has gluten-free brownies, organic sea salt and almond milk chocolate bars and low-fat raspberry muffins.
Panopolis’ menu includes freshly baked artisan bread products, featuring a range of breads from across the globe baked on the site including bagels, baguettes, mini0ciabatta triangles, pretzel breads and arctic bread from Scandanavia. Fillings honey-cured ham, smoked, free-range turkey, shaved parmesan, goat cheese, pesto and pine nuts
SSP America will also open several more concepts at RDU in 2009, including Moe’s Southwest Grill, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Jason’s Deli and Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar.
