Borders soon will offer its array of books, music and movies to travelers at Indianapolis International (IND).
On Nov. 12, the retailer will open an 818 sq. ft. store in the Col. H. Weir Cook Terminal, selling more than 7,000 book titles, DVDs, CDs, gifts and stationery.
“We are pleased to open a new Borders store in the Indianapolis International Airport,” says Jill Lyon, vice president of store planning and construction for Borders Group. “Whether shopping for a best-selling book, CD or DVD they can enjoy en route to their next destination, Borders is committed to serving travelers coming through the Col. H. Weir Cook Terminal.”
The store, located post-security, is the first Borders at IND. It will bring the retailer’s airport stores to 31, including those in Dallas, Texas; Seattle, Wash.; Miami, Fla.; and Washington, D.C.
