Nashville International (BNA) will unveil the winter installment of its Flying Solo series on Dec. 8.
The Arts at the Airport’s exhibition program displays the works of local artists each season.
This year’s winter exhibit will feature works by Justin Simcik, Antuco Chicaiza, Annette Elizabeth Fournet, Carrol Harding McTyre, the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists and students of Nossi College of Art. It will run through March 1; photographs of country music legend Marty Stuart will also be shown through June 30.
“We are pleased to have such an impressive spectrum of visual art on display at Nashville International Airport,” says Raul Regalado, president and chief executive officer of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. “The authority’s Arts at the Airport program is bringing the talents of Tennessee’s artists to passengers and visitors to Nashville.”
Displays will be shown throughout the airport: Simcik, ticketing lobby south; Chicaiza, ticketing lobby north; Fournet, Concourse C; McTyre, A/B Art Case; TACA, C/D Art cases; and Nossi College of Art, Concourse A.
