The reLAX Lounge at Los Angeles International (LAX) is giving travelers willing to pay for some downtime a place to go.
The lounge, which opened Dec. 5 pre-security at the center of the Tom Bradley International Terminal’s mezzanine level, offers three hours of use for $25. Passengers need not be flying from the international terminal to use the facility, but they must be at least 21 years old.
“We believe the reLAX Lounge fills the needs of an important segment of the business travel market – those not affiliated with an airline lounge program. For a $25 fee, a business traveler – regardless of airline or class of service – can enjoy a tranquil space, catch up on work, enjoy our complimentary refreshments or just relax,” says Walter Vergara, marketing director for the lounge’s operator, Airport Terminal Management.
The entry fee includes snacks and beverages, and use of the lounge’s business center, which includes wireless internet access, faxing, photocopying and printing.
