Jamba Juice is mixing things up at San Diego International (SAN).
The 616 sq. ft. store opened Jan. 29 post-security in Terminal 2 West.
“We are extremely pleased to have this healthy alternative and one of the first the first airport Jamba Juices in California,” says Thella F. Bowens, president and chief executive officer of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. “Open less than a month, sales figures are not in yet, but early indications are it is doing well.”
The SAN store is testing a special line of salads, sandwiches and wraps only available at the airport location. Otherwise, it offers the same, full menu as the company’s street locations.
The restaurant is open seven days a week, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
