The Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in business operations and results, and this year, it has chosen Tommy Bibb to be part of its Board of Examiners.
Bibb, the director of properties for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating organizations that apply for the award. Other board members include business, industry, education and health care organizations, professional and trade associations, and government. All board members are required to complete training in the Baldrige National Quality Program’s “Criteria for Performance Excellence.”
At MNAA, Bibb manages the airport authority’s commercial lease agreements for Nashville International (BNA) and John C. Tune (JWN), as well as overseeing the authority’s land development opportunities for aviation and non-aviation uses.
The TNCPE, which was established in 1993, is modeled after the Baldrige National Quality Program, recognized as a national standard.
