Hudson News, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Travelex and ZoomSystems are the latest additions to join the AIRMALL at Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE).
In Concourse D, the 1,400 sq. ft. Hudson News will offer reading materials such as newspapers, magazines and books, packaged foods, snacks on the go and other travel necessities.
For those wanting to snack on a pretzel, the 526 sq. ft. Auntie Anne’s will give travelers on Concourse C their fix. The goodies will be hand-rolled, twisted and baked using fresh dough made on the premises. Flavors include original, garlic, jalapeé±o, cinnamon sugar, sour cream and onion, and others; dips such as marinara sauce, cheese and caramel will also be available.
Passengers who need banknotes and other foreign exchange products and services can find it at two Travelex locations: a 335 sq. ft. location in post-security Concourse C, and the other, a 383 sq. ft. spot located pre-security.
ZoomSystems and Best Buy have teamed up to offer electronic devices, movies and other gadgets via ZoomSystems’ automated retail locations. They can be found in Concourses C and D.
“The arrival of these units to the concessions program provides additional landside
access to news options and other conveniences not available prior to the
introduction of the AIRMALL® at CLE,” says Tina LaForte, vice president of BAA
Cleveland, which is developing the AIRMALL®. “BAA Cleveland is proud to offer these services and products at ‘Regular Mall Prices … Guaranteed.'”
Ricky Smith, director of CLE, also expressed excitement about the new choices.
“With the opening of each new retail unit, restaurant or service, passengers will have access to what they’re looking for when they travel,” he says. “In the end, the redevelopment of the airport’s concessions program will truly enhance the passenger experience.”
