Vino Volo Lauded With 3 Awards

The honors are pouring in for Vino Volo, with three recent commendations.

Earlier this month, Philadelphia International Airport’s Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops held its annual Merchant of the Year party; Vino Volo, which has a store in the B/C Connector, was proclaimed the winner.

During the Nation’s Restaurant News’ Multi-Unit Foodservice Operators conference in Dallas, Texas, also earlier this month, Vino Volo was named one of the winners of the publication’s 15th annual Hot Concept! Awards. The program began in 1995 to highlight the industry’s “most creative and innovative emerging concepts. Chosen by the editors of NRN, the winners must be seven years old or younger, have a track record of financial success and have clearly defined concepts with strong customer appeal that poise them for future growth,” according to the publication’s Web site.

And just last week, the San Francisco Business Times ranked it No. 11 out of 100 of the region’s fastest-growing private companies.

“These three honors are the result of the extraordinary and passionate efforts of everyone at Vino Volo,” says Doug Tomlinson, CEO of Vino Volo. “Our employees are eager to share their love and knowledge of wine with our guests. As a result, our guests are thrilled by the quality of our wines, food and customer service, so they come back, and they tell their friends about Vino Volo and this keeps us really busy and fuels our growth.”
