Minute Suites To Offer ATL Travelers A Place To Nap

Minute Suites made its debut at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) on Nov. 17 with a grand opening scheduled for Nov. 23.

“After a year of product development and testing, our production model is ready and we believe Hartsfield-Jackson is the ideal airport to launch our service,” says Daniel Solomon, managing member of Minute Suites.

The Business Traveler Services concept is the first of its kind in any domestic airport and allows travelers a place to relax, work or nap in private. Each suite comes with a daybed sofa, pillows and blankets, and a sound-masking system helps block outside noise. There is an alarm clock in each suite, or guests can request a wake-up call.

Each suite also features an HD television with remote control that also converts to a computer with access to the Internet and the airport’s flight-tracking system. For those who need to work, a desk, phone and office chair offer a workstation. Those with laptops can connect to the Internet using the airport’s Wi-Fi or a direct connection port.

Minute Suites is located on Concourse B, near Gate B15.

“Minute Suites is an innovative solution for air travelers,” says John Cugasi, ATL’s director of concessions. “We pride ourselves in being responsive to the needs of our passengers and we are excited to be the first airport to provide such a service.”
