Five Guys Burgers Sizzling At LGA

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is now serving up its fare at LaGuardia’s (LGA) Central Terminal Building.

“We are thrilled to welcome Five Guys Burgers and Fries to LaGuardia Airport,” says Lillian Tan, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace Development, the retail development company that manages The Food & Shops. “Five Guys will give our passengers yet another compelling reason to visit the airport early. The addition of Five Guys helps to fulfill our goal of providing customers with a superior dining experience.”

The restaurant, located presecurity on the departures level in the food court near Gate D, offers burgers, fries, hot dogs and veggie sandwiches; the new location also offers breakfast.

“We’re excited to join the Food & Shops family at LaGuardia Airport,” says Michael Hoover, franchise owner of Five Guys Burgers and Fries at LGA. “It’s an honor and privilege for us to be part of one of the busiest airports in the nation in the biggest city in the nation.”

The restaurant will host a grand opening week at the airport from June 28 to July 2, offering travelers and employees special offers and freebies.

The Food & Shops at LGA is offering a shopping program for those searching for a Father’s Day gift.

Retailers such as Borders, The Body Shop and The Metropolitan Museum of Art will offer “Gifts to Go” tables in front of their store displaying an array of gifts.

Selections include neckties with Egyptian columns from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Flow Personal TVs from InMotion Entertainment and Golf Chill Caps from Life is good.

In addition, the Metropolitan Museum of Art store will offer $10 off a minimum purchase of $50 beginning June 30.
