Amber Gooding, director of business diversity development for the Metropolitan Nashville airport Authority, has been elected to the Airport Minority Advisory Council Board.
Goodwing will serve as a director at large for a three-year term, as well as co-chairwoman of the membership committee with a focus on increasing the representation from the construction and services sectors.
“We are proud of Amber Gooding’s involvement on the AMAC Board and her work with the MNAA team to accomplish our goal of sustaining diversity in contracting with the airports,” says Raul Regalado, MNAA president and CEO.
At MNAA, Gooding is responsible for administering its federally mandated disadvantaged business enterprise program and its voluntary local small, minority- and woman-owned business enterprise program. She is also a networking resource and liaison to large and small companies to participate in contracting with MNAA’s two airports, Nashville International (BNA) and John C. Tune (JWN).
