ARN Names 2010 Directors Of The Year

Airport Revenue News (ARN) is pleased to announce that Danny Murphy of
Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX) and Patrick Graham of
Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) are ARN’s 2010 Directors of
the Year in the large/medium and small airport categories,
respectively.  
   
ARN solicited for candidates by asking members of the airport industry
to nominate worthy directors.  The candidates had to excel in the
categories of leadership, innovation, revenue generation, marketing,
customer service, community service and proactive efforts to advance
the airport industry. The director in each division receiving the most
number of nominations won the award.
 
“We are proud to honor Danny and Patrick with the prestigious ARN
Director of the Year award,” says Pauline Armbrust, president and CEO
of ARN. “They both are truly deserving of this distinction as evidenced
by their leadership abilities and achievements at their respective
airports.”

We wouldn’t have such a successful airport without the leadership of
our Mayor and City Council, our Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board, and
our excellent, dedicated staff.”

says Graham. “Being recognized by Airport Revenue News is special
because our concessionaires do such a terrific job that even though
Savannah is categorized as a “small hub airport”, we are among the top
ten producers on a per enplanement basis.”
 
Murphy, Airport Director of PHX, will be interviewed in and featured on
the cover of the ARN December 2010/January 2011 year end double-issue. 
Graham, Executive Director of SAV, will be interviewed in and featured
on the cover of the November 2010 issue.  Both directors will be
honored and presented their awards at the ARN Awards Show on the final
night of the 2011 ARN Revenue Conference & Exhibition at the
Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland (Feb. 27-March 1).
 
Recent previous winners include Jeffrey Fegan of DFW, Fredrick Piccolo
of SRQ, the late William DeCota of PANYNJ, and Bruce Pelly of PBI.
