It’s A Fiesta At LGA With Opening Of MexiJoe’s Grill

MexiJoe’s Grill is spicing things up in the center food court at LaGuardia’s (LGA) Central Terminal.

The eatery offers classic Mexican dishes and signature items including Beef Barbacoa Burritos, chicken fajita rice bowls and carne asada tacos. It was
opened by and is an extension of Centerplate, which operates other dining concessions at LGA.

“MexiJoe’s is a great concept designed to appeal to travelers and their unique needs,” says Wesley Mills, Centerplate’s general manager at LaGuardia Airport. “It provides healthy, freshly prepared, Mexican-inspired dishes quickly and in convenient, portable containers.”
 
Lillian Tan, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace Development, the retail development company that manages the Food & Shops program at the terminal, says the company is excited to have the restaurant in the lineup.

“The addition of MexiJoe’s Grill will provide our customers with fresh, Mexican-inspired dishes and complement our existing food offerings with a Southwest flavor,” she says.

As part of the grand opening celebration, which will be May 31 to June 3, MexiJoe’s is offering special food coupons and food samples to travelers; a mariachi band also will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1-3, and The Chili Pepper, a costumed character, will be appear from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 31 to June 3.
