Midgley Named Director Of Concession Management For JFKIAT Terminal 4

JFKIAT LLC has named Edward Midgley its director of concession management at John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Terminal 4.

In his newly created role, he will manage the daily and long-term performance of the terminal’s concession program and will be responsible for carrying out and delivering the concession program strategy encompassing revenues from all non-aviation categories including duty free, specialty retail, food and beverage, and advertising.

“Edward Midgley has a long record of accomplishments in the industry particularly with improving customer satisfaction, managing sales and driving revenues,” says Janice Holden, chief commercial officer of JFKIAT LLC. “His experience is an ideal complement to our existing set of skills, and we are always looking to make improvements. We welcome Ed and we’re confident he will help us build on the already strong foundation of quality food, beverage and retail offerings at Terminal 4.”

Midgley will also supervise the day-to-day operations of the terminal’s concession program and work with the terminal’s partners to monitor and improve performance. In addition, he will be involved with the team developing new retail options as part of the terminal’s expansion and enhancement, which began this year.

Before joining JFKIAT in April, he served as the food and beverage director/assistant general manager for Westfield Concession Management at Newark Liberty International (EWR) Terminal C. He has also held restaurant management roles with Burger King and Marriott Corp., as well as Bayshore Healthcare Services, Carrier Clinic, Sunrise Senior Living facility and Clara Maass Medical Center.
