Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services has opened the newly renovated Gateway Cafe restaurants at Syracuse Hancock International (SYR).
The concepts include several New York state favorites, including Dinosaur Bar-B-Que; Hofmann Sausage; Gianelli Sausage; New York Bakery; Saranac Beer and Saranac 1888 Soft Drinks; Bully Hill Vineyards; Paul Delima Coffee; and Terrell’s Potato Chips
The new concepts are the final piece of a $400,000 renovation of two restaurants undertaken by Delaware North after it was awarded a three-year extension to operate food, beverage and retail at SYR.
Gateway Cafe North is in the North Concourse of Terminal B, and Gateway Cafe South is located in the South Concourse of Terminal A.
“The Syracuse area has so many wonderful, nationally recognized brands,” says Syracuse Mayor Stephanie A. Miner. “To be able to enjoy Dinosaur BBQ, Hofmann’s and Gianelli’s at the airport will give our residents a ‘taste’ of home as they embark on their travels, and visitors a taste of some of the local flavor our region has to offer. I commend Delaware North for making an investment in our airport.”
“We are committed to providing regional favorites in all of our airports,” says Paul Egan, regional director for Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services. “At Syracuse Hancock International Airport, the Gateway Cafe concepts will give all of our
guests a taste of upstate New York.”
