Portland International Jetport (PWM) has agreed to a 10-year contract extension with HMSHost Corp. to provide food and beverage offerings. The contract is expected to bring in revenues totaling nearly $60M.
“Expanding our partnership with HMSHost is one that we know will be successful and offers our travelers a wider range of choices. It will build upon the more than 30-year partnership that PWM has built with HMSHost,” said Paul Bradbury, Portland’s Airport Director.
The company has recently opened Linda Bean’s Main Lobster Cafe, and under the new agreement will renovate Starbucks, Shipyard Pub, Shipyard Brewport and Great American Bagel.
Menu options at Linda Bean’s Lobster Cafe include lobster rolls, salad and non-seafood selections. At Shipyard Brewport and Shipyard Pub, travelers will find New England favorites such as clam chowder and lobster wraps, as well as Shipyard Beer.
“We’re glad to be making the traveler’s day better at PWM,” says Michael Fetchko, senior director of business development for HMSHost. “Our long-term relationship with Shipyard Brewing and now our new partnership with Linda Bean will benefit visitors as they arrive at the gateway to this beautiful state, Portland’s International Jetport.”
The existing Great American Bagel kiosk will be turned into a full-sized space in the post-security area, and Starbucks will be refreshed with the company’s new design palate. There will also be a new Burger King added to the post-security line-up.
