The Food & Shops at LaGuardia’s (LGA) Central Terminal has partnered with Brookstone to offer travelers a holiday gift with purchase.
Those who spend $100 at any retail store or combination thereof will receive a free Luxe Plush scarf. The scarf, which retails for $20, is made of NapSoft® material. To get their gift, shoppers can show their airport purchase receipts totaling at least $100 at Brookstone near Gates C.
“Holiday travel can be stressful,” says Paul O. McGinn, president of MarketPlace Development, the retail development company that develops and manages the retail and food program for LaGuardia’s Central Terminal and at Philadelphia (PHL). “Our goal is to offer travelers special deals and events to make their time at the airport more enjoyable and productive. We thank our retail and restaurant partners for working with us to bring these specials to our passengers.”
To help entice customers, retailers are displaying holiday gift ideas on “Gifts to Go” holiday tables in front of their stores. Merchandise includes jewelry, electronics, bath and body products, museum merchandise, apparel and toys.
Also available is a 20% off universal coupon good through Jan. 2, which provides discounts for most retail stores and restaurants in the Food & Shops program. Passengers can pick one up in the terminal, access one on their smart phones or download it at the Food &Shops website, www.shoplaguardia.com. Through Dec. 23, Kuddles, the holiday elf, will provide characters balloons, stickers and holiday face painting on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. And a Twitter contest will also be announce in December for followers of @shoplaguardia.
