HMSHost Corp. has hired former Cartridge World CEO Tom Fricke as president and CEO effective January 16th.
During his time at Cartridge World, Fricke oversaw 1,700 units operating in 63 countries. He has also worked with PepsiCo, Home Depot and Giant Eagle grocery stores. Fricke has also worked abroad with in Sydney, Australia with PepsiCo and San Juan, Puerto Rico with Frito-Lay.
Upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy where he completed his studies with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Fricke served as a Naval Intelligence Officer. After leaving the Navy, he attended Stanford University where he earned a Masters in Business Administration.
Fricke joins HMSHost, a global leader in dining and shopping for travel venues. HMSHost, a division of Autogrill Group, operates in more than 100 airports around the globe, including the 20 busiest in North America.
Fricke replaces former president and CEO Elie Maalouf.
