Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) will now offer travelers a true taste of the region with the opening of Camden Food Co.
SSP Canada, a division of SSP, and YYZ partnered to bring travelers locally produced and regionally sourced products from local farms, dairies and specialty food artisans. The store is designed to mimic the setting of an old farm decorated with reclaimed and salvaged wood, warm rich earth tones, rustic metal and stone mosaic wall tiles. Among its offerings are a fresh salad bar, artisinal cheeses from the Upper Canada Cheese Creamery, breakfast paninis made with eggs from Ontario egg grader Gray Ridge Farms, Kiju Organic Juices and Fairtrade endorsed Balzac Coffee from Toronto’s distillery district will be brewed into cappuccinos and lattes.
“We are pleased that SSP is bringing another great food and beverage offering to Toronto Pearson,” said Pamela Griffith-Jones, Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer at Toronto Pearson International Airport. “We are committed to expanding our dining options for our guests and the diverse and local food choices our guests will have at Camden food co. is a great example of this commitment.”
Camden food co. is also in Vancouver International (YVR), Indianapolis International (IND), Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) and Sacramento International (SMF). In 2012 it will be opening in George Bush Interncontinental (IAH), General MItchell International (MKE) and San Diego International (SAN).
