Three combination Dunkin’ Donuts/Hudson News stores have opened in the Amtrak concourses of New York’s Penn Station.
“Dunkin’ Donuts and Hudson News are concepts that co-exist perfectly in airports and rail terminals,” said Hudson Group President and CEO Jo DiDomizio during a ribbon cutting May 30. “Teaming them up provides customers with just what they want – impeccable service, cleanliness and convenience – all under one roof.”
Hudson Group will operate the new stores, which are near the Seventh and Eighth Avenue entrances and next to the Amtrak Rotunda area. Among the offerings will be coffee, donuts, magazines and snacks.
“Hudson News is delighted to join forces with Dunkin’ Donuts to serve customers in this exciting ‘news cafe’ concept,” says Tom Kornacki, senior vice president of food and beverage at Hudson. “The new stores bring to 10 the number of locations where we are now working with Dunkin’.”
The Eighth Avenue location will be open 24 hours; the other two will be open from 5 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.
