LS Travel Retail North America and partner Sierra Airport Concessions have been awarded a retail package of four locations at Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW); it is the second retail package the joint venture has won at the airport, the first of which was awarded in 2011.
The new stores will include convenience, news and coffee, gifts and souvenirs, and apparel and accessories and will be a mix of local and national brands.
7-Eleven, which will be on Terminal E, will offer magazines, health and beauty items, sandwiches, beverages including the brand’s signature Slurpee®, and coffee to go. This will be the second 7-Eleven at DFW. The first is scheduled to open in the fall in Terminal A.
On Terminal B, Texas Territories will offer Texas and Dallas/Fort Worth-themed gifts and memorabilia, clothing and accessories, food items and toys, all sourced from local manufacturers. ARTIZAN, will feature clothing and accessories.
With a location already at DFW, Sierra News is partnering with Ruta Maya Coffee to sell news and travel-related items, as well as locally grown and fairly traded organic coffee.
“We’re very excited to be able to expand our presence at DFW, which means we will soon have eight stores over three terminals in one of the U.S. airport system’s busiest airports,” says Gerry Savaria, president and CEO of LS Travel Retail North America.
