When the USA Pro Challenge goes through Denver, Colo., on Aug. 20-26, Denver International (DEN) will be included in the action.
The airport, VISIT DENVER, the Convention & Visitors Bureau, and race organizers have commissioned local artists for a temporary, sports-themed display. Ivar Zeile of Plus Gallery asked local artists and non-profit arts organizations to change 13 bicycles into unique, stand-alone works of art. The art will be on display throughout August and can be seen atop the baggage carousels on the east and west sides of the Jeppesen Terminal.
