Westfield Unveils Look For ORD Terminal 5

Though not set to open officially until April 4, Westfield Concession Management has provided a sneak peek into Chicago O’Hare’s (ORD) new Terminal 5. To view the video click here.

“Westfield is leveraging its global resources to re-invent the airport experience with O’Hare’s Terminal 5 leading the way,” says Dominic Lowe, executive vice president of Westfield. “With new luxury dining and retail, magnificent amenities and responsive services, we’re thrilled to invite T5 travelers on a journey to experience the future of airports today.”

Comprised of a single concourse with 21 common-use gates for 24 carriers, Terminal 5 is ORD’s international terminal. The new program offers travelers an artisanal market, Goddess & Grocer. in addition to high-end retailers such as Salvatore Ferragamo and a 10,000-square-foot European-style duty free store that will allow passengers to pass through once clearing the new Transportation Security Administration checkpoint. In addition to airport firsts such as Italian eatery Tocco, the new terminal will feature five concepts from Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises including Hub 51, Big Bowl and Wow Bao.

The operators in Terminal 5 are Areas USA, Dufry and Hudson Group.
