TPA Releases Details Of Concession Opportunities

Tampa International (TPA) hosted its Industry Day workshop Wednesday in the ballroom of the Tampa Airport Marriott, during which the details of the upcoming concession opportunities were revealed for Airsides A, C, E and F and the Main Terminal.

Among the airport’s concession goals is for the program to “create a sense of place and capture the spirit of the Tampa Bay Area,” create opportunities for Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and represent local, regional, national and international concepts and brands, according to the presentation.

Accounting for more than 60 percent of the program at 64,755 square feet were the six food and beverage packages that total 32 spaces. The largest of the food packages is Food & Beverage Package 2, with four spaces totaling 21,091 square feet. The spaces range in size from 3,200 square feet to 7,800 square feet. The second largest package is Food & Beverage Package 1, with 11 spaces, which calls for a variety of concepts such as branded coffee, casual dining and a bar.

For retail, there will be four packages totaling 35 spaces at 36,623 square feet. Retail Package 2 is the largest at 17,056 square feet and 12 spaces detailing a mix of specialty retail and news/convenience concepts.
