Boingo Wireless and the Metropolitan Nashville Airports Authority have announced an expanded wireless partnership, with Boingo the exclusive neutral host wireless network partner at Nashville International (BNA).
Boingo will install and manage a new neutral host distributed antenna system network for BNA, which will boost cellular coverage and data capacity. It also will provide comprehensive cellular and enhanced Wi-Fi services under a long-term agreement.
The company will provide extended complimentary, ad-supported Wi-Fi to all travelers throughout the airport and will offer enhanced, premium service for subscribers and travelers engaging in high-bandwidth activities.
Advertising sales and support for the airport will be managed by Boingo Media, the company’s advertising and sponsorship services group.
“Nashville is booming,” says Rob Wigington, president and CEO of MNAA. “The city was one of the fastest-growing in the U.S. in 2013 and we are seeing increased traffic from business travelers and tourists visiting Music City. Extending our long-standing partnership with Boingo will give us a complete wireless solution to meet the needs of our diverse, connected passenger base.”
