ARN Names Bonnie Allin Of TUS 2014 Director Of The Year, Small Airports Category

Airport Revenue News is pleased to announce Bonnie Allin, president and CEO of Tucson International (TUS), the 2014 Director of the Year in the small airports category.

“This award is not only a celebration of Bonnie’s work at TUS but an acknowledgement of her career in serving our industry,” says Ramon Lo, editorial director at ARN. “The ARN team is proud to recognize her achievements.”

The ARN editorial staff selected Allin for her achievements in the areas of leadership, community work, service and efforts to advance the airport industry. She began her career with TUS before moving to Corpus Christi International (CRP), where she ended her tenure as director of aviation. She returned to TUS as vice president of aviation services before becoming president and CEO in 2002. Allin serves as chairwoman of the International Association of Airport Executives and chairwoman of the Airports Council International-North America’s Government Affairs Steering Committee, and she is on the Policy Review Committee for the American Association Of Airport Executives. On a local level, Allin serves on the boards of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council and Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities.

“This award recognizes Tucson International Airport’s team of highly motivated and dedicated individuals,” says Allin. “I am honored to accept the award on behalf of our team, as it acknowledges our commitment to exceptional customer service, which is demonstrated every day.”

ARN will celebrate Allin in the upcoming October issue, for which she will be interviewed and will appear on the cover. She will be presented with this award at the ARN Awards Show on the final night of the ARN 2015 Revenue Conference & Exhibition, March 9-11, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.
