Sixt SE and U.S. franchise unit Sixt Franchise USA LLC have signed an agreement with Walser Automotive Group under which Walser will open a Sixt rent a car franchise that will service Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP).
Walser also will open several other locations in the region.
“Expanding our business into the airport and downtown rental car market is a priority for us and it’s great to be part of a fast-growing franchise system like Sixt,” says Paul Walser, CEO of Walser Automotive. “We look forward to growing our network of Sixt locations as the Sixt network expands throughout the U.S.”
Sixt is a leader in Germany in providing mobility service. The company has a presence in more than 100 countries; it has representatives in 12 states with franchisees operating in eight, several of which are at or near airports, with plans to expand across North America, company officials say.
