The Metropolitan Airports Commission will conduct two informational sessions in the coming weeks aimed at providing information related to solicitations it will release in 2015.
There will be two sessions: Understanding the RFP Process and Leasing Structures will be Nov. 17; Business Outreach and Networking will follow Dec. 15.
The sessions will be designed to educate potential bidders on the process the MAC will go through when requesting proposals for new restaurants and retail stores at Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP).
“Establishing a business at MSP is a challenging endeavor, particularly to those whom have not previously worked in an airport environment,” says Liz Grzechowiak, assistant director of concessions and business development. “The reward for a job well done, however, is exceptional sales from our 33 million annual passengers. We look forward to sharing the process with the business community to help them decipher whether or not the 2015 concessions re-bid is the right opportunity for their business.”
