The Airmall at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) was recognized for its community service work by the Philanthropik Foundation during the organization’s holiday celebration and toy drive for The Ronald McDonald House.
Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake presented Airmall with a citation for the company’s efforts throughout the year, including its involvement in the mayor’s summer book drive, her Journey Home event for the homeless and her toy drive.
Airmall also was involved in the Greater Baltimore Urban League’s Golf Tournament and Business Partnership Exchange, according to company documents.
“At Airmall, it’s our mission to make a positive impact on our local communities by creating economic opportunities for the region, and by giving back both through our time and donations to local organizations,” says Brett Kelly, vice president of Airmall Maryland. “We’re honored to be recognized by Philanthropik and Mayor Rawlings-Blake for our community service in the Baltimore-Washington region over the past year, and we look forward to continuing our support for the important work that they do as we usher in the New Year.”
