LS Travel Retail North America has opened five stores at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International (YUL) as part of the airport’s redevelopment.
Two of them are Relay stores, which provide travel essentials, such as electronics, grab-and-go food, and local souvenirs.
LS Travel Retail also has opened a Decouvrir Montreal, which is a tailored version of the company’s Discover concept. It’s an airport-exclusive gift and souvenir shop that offers local products, including those from Canada’s Hudson Bay Co. in a branded shop-in-shop format.
The local flavor brought by LS Travel Retail also comes from a Cirque du Soleil store. Founded in Montreal in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has evolved from a small group of innovative street performers to an international brand featured on six continents and in more than 300 cities. The Cirque du Soleil store at YUL is a gift shop.
The final location is called Lolë. It’s a locally founded brand that stands for “Live Out Loud Everyday.” It’s a women’s lifestyle and active wear concept that provides clothes and accessories for sports, travel, outerwear and everyday wear. It’s particularly known for its outdoor yoga meet-ups, workshops and events.
“We are very happy to bring these new stores to YUL and partner with the airport in its redevelopment plan,” says Vadim Motlik, chief development officer for LS Travel Retail. “With these new stores, we reaffirm our commitment to deliver a unique experience that truly embodies Montreal and Quebec.”
