International Currency Exchange Opens At Halifax Stanfield

International Currency Exchange has opened at Halifax Stanfield International (YHZ), replacing Travelex, which decided not to renew.

The change took place between close of business Wednesday and opening Thursday without interruption, according to airport officials.

“We are delighted to welcome ICE to our airport community,” says Joyce Carter, president and CEO of the Halifax International Airport Authority. “ICE has an impressive history of providing travelers with excellent service and we are confident they will more than fulfill the needs of our passengers.”

In addition to currency exchange and buyback services, ICE also offers Click & Collect, a free online foreign currency reservation service through which customers can choose from more than 25 currencies and then choose a pick-up date and location with no advance payment required.
