MSP Gets Charged Up With FuelRod Kiosks

Nine FuelRod kiosks are now stationed Minneapolis-St. Paul International’s (MSP) Terminal 1-Lindbergh. The kiosks offer chargers for mobile devices; chargers can be purchased for $20 each, or users can swap a depleted charger for a new one at no cost.

“It’s been a pleasure working with MSP Airport,” says Joe Yeagley, co-founder of FuelRod. “Our FuelRod airport program is gaining momentum across the nation and abroad. Travelers now have a very cost-effective and convenient way to ensure their mobile devices stay fully charged while traveling.”

A full charger can give users up to eight hours of additional talk time on smartphones and about four extra hours on tablets.

“We believe the FuelRod portable charger kiosks will add a new level of convenience for our passengers who increasingly rely on their portable electronics while traveling,” says Elizabeth Grzechowiak, assistant director of concessions and business development for MSP. “We pride ourselves on providing the right blend of concessions and passenger services, and the FuelRod kiosks perfectly complement the range of services we offer here at MSP.”
