Uber Picks Up Service At CVG

Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International (CVG) is the latest airport to allow Uber to operate in the airport.

“Our customers desire options,” says Candace McGraw, CEO of CVG. “Uber joins other ground transportation options including rental cars, taxi cabs, On-Demand Van/Shuttle and Tank,” she adds, referring to the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky.

Uber will now be a Transportation Network Company under the airport’s new ridesharing policy. The company is expected to start service this week.

“This agreement perfectly highlights both Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport’s embrace of innovation and Uber’s commitment to meeting consumer needs,” says Casey Verkamp, general manager of Uber. “We’re excited to formalize an agreement with CVG, giving the tens of thousands of Uber users in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, along with visitors to the area, access to the convenience of Uber upon arrival.”
