Tailwind, a concessions company specializing in regional airports, has been awarded contracts at four new locations.
The company will now be in Tri-Cities (PSC), Tallahassee Regional (TLH), Charlottesville-Albermarle (CHO) and Eugene (EUG).
“We work very hard at making the journey through the airport a pleasant, satisfying experience for travelers,” says Jeff Switzer, COO of Tailwind. “We are always looking for ways to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction as we build our relationship with the airport administration.”
PSC is currently in the middle of an expansion project, and Tailwind is providing concessions and retail services in temporary spaces. Permanent locations are expected to open in early 2017.
TLH is also currently under construction. Full retail services are available in pre-security, with limited food, beverage and retail available in post-security. Construction should be done by the end of this year.
At CHO, Tailwind has retail, snacks and a coffee bar that are expected to open in October. A patio bar on the airport’s observation deck is supposed to open in the spring.
Tailwind currently has concessions in EUG, but the company will be expanding into Terminals A and B when the airport’s renovation is finished.
