Construction and development firm Skanska USA has hired Jeffrey Fucigna as project director. He will work on various projects within Skanska, with a particular emphasis on aviation and transportation-related pursuits.
“Jeff brings a holistic approach to aviation construction, partnering with customers so that airports, airlines and passengers see no disruption to operations from construction activities,” says Len Vetrone, COO at Skanska. “His strong relationships throughout the industry and experience with numerous alternative project delivery methods will be valued by our customers, especially in California’s fast-evolving aviation industry.”
Fucigna has more than 25 years of experience with these types of projects, working with airports such as San Francisco International (SFO), Oakland International (OAK), Los Angeles International (LAX) and San Diego International (SAN). He spent the past three years with HOK architecture firm as vice president and transportation sector market lead.
