HMSHost Corp. has won a 10-year contract to operate the six dining spaces at Piedmont Triad International (GSO).
“HMSHost is proud to deliver travelers the best dining choices in the industry, and we’re very excited to work with Piedmont Triad International Airport on enhancing the airport experience for their travelers with great food and drink,” says Stephen Douglas, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “The restaurants coming to the airport will offer a balance of local flavor and national favorites for the many types of travelers that pass through GSO, and we look forward to working closely with the airport for many years to come.”
The pre-security Main Terminal will see the addition of a PGA Tour Grill and The Great American Bagel. The PGA Tour Grill is a restaurant inspired by the PGA Tour. The menu features healthy choices to promote an active lifestyle. The Great American Bagel is a bakery and deli concept.
In post-security, the North Concourse will have The Local @ GSO and the airport’s first Starbucks location. The South Concourse will also get a Starbucks location, as well as an ACC American Cafe. The Local @ GSO features menu items made using fresh ingredients from local farms and regionally significant recipes. The ACC American Cafe endeavors to reflect the region’s collegiate sporting culture.
New offerings will start opening in spring and continue through the end of 2016.
