John Cugasi, currently senior vice president for strategic planning and business development for Paradies Lagardère, will move to a consulting role for the company beginning March 21. Gerry Savaria will take on Cugasi’s responsibilities in planning and development, in addition to his current duties as executive vice president.
The changes were noted in an email written Paradies Lagardère President and CEO Gregg Paradies on March 17.
“John is a highly respected and trusted leader both within our company and the industry as a whole, and his contributions to the growth and success of Paradies Lagardère are truly immeasurable,” Paradies wrote of the move. “I am very pleased that he will be staying on in a consulting role and contributing significantly to Paradies Lagardère’s position as the travel retail and restaurateur industry leader in North America.”
Regarding Savaria’s expanded role, Paradies wrote: “I know that Gerry will do a great job in his expanded role as he has a tremendous amount of experience in this vital function and a great team with which to work.”
