E-commerce platform Grab, with its launch partner Delaware North, is starting mobile ordering in three new airports.
Travelers through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL), Denver International (DEN) and Louis Armstrong News Orleans International (MSY) will be able to order food from their mobile devices. Among the three airports, 25 more restaurants will be offering mobile ordering.
“We are excited to extend Grab’s mobile capabilities in these new markets,” says Mark Bergsrud, CEO of Grab. “It is our aim to improve the airport travel experience. We are giving passengers the resources they need to save time and easily find the amenities they need when they need them.”
The restaurants at FLL that will be part of Grab’s mobile ordering services are Zona Fresca, Food Network Kitchen, Pei Wei, Steak ‘n Shake and others. At DEN, Boulder Beer Tap House, Lefty’s Colorado Trail Grille, Red Rocks Bar & BBQ and Schlotzsky’s Deli are included. Restaurants at MSY are Copeland’s Gourmet Kitchen, Dooky Chase, PJ’s Coffee, Zatarain’s and others.
Grab currently has mobile ordering at 27 restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) and Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS).
“Grab has been the ideal partner to launch mobile ordering for our restaurants in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport,” says Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North Travel Hospitality Services. “The system is easy to implement, and we have already seen great success in just a few short months. We look forward to continuing the momentum as we roll out the service through the rest of our network.”
