OTG Gets In On The PokémonGo Craze

As the popularity of the recently released PokémonGo continued through the weekend, OTG took an opportunity to get in on the action.

Upon realizing that there were a number of Pokémon in the company’s restaurants and gate lounges, OTG decided to purchase and install “lures” in those spaces. These helped travelers track and capture the creatures more easily.

“We aim to create unique experiences in our airport spaces, and this just seemed like a really fun way to surprise and delight our guests,” says Manu Gambhir, OTG senior vice president of digital. “Everyone involved had a lot of fun. The creation of the lures, and promotion of their locations across our social was an obvious way to help our guests ‘catch ‘em all!’”
