The Strip Market has made its way into the Airmall at Pittsburgh International (PIT).
The specialty foods market has 840 square feet of space. It features Pittsburgh favorites and a grab-and-go menu. The grab-and-go menu features foods from local establishments like Anthony’s Original Produce, The Bagel Factory, Janoski Farms and Soergel Orchards.
The concept is based on the historic Strip District near downtown Pittsburgh, a neighborhood where many locals go to shop for locally sourced and specialty foods from a variety of sellers.
“Whether a traveler is new to Pittsburgh or proud of their hometown cuisine, The Strip Market offers a true taste of the region,” says Bob Kerlik, vice president of media relations. “Bringing more of Pittsburgh into the airport is important, and travelers will have a great opportunity to experience that with this market.”
