FuelRod Coming To Houston Airports

FuelRod kiosks will soon be appearing in George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU).

Eleven kiosks will be installed in IAH and five in HOU beginning in October. The self-serve kiosks allow travelers to buy a charger kit for their mobile devices. Each kit costs $20 and comes with connectors for Apple and Android devices. Once a charger is depleted, it can be recharged using a USB outlet or swapped at any of the kiosks for a new, fully charged charger.

“We’re very excited about our first installation in Texas,” says Joe Yeagley, co-founder of Tricopian, the company behind FuelRod. “FuelRod is now the fastest-growing mobile charging service being deployed in airports today. We look forward to our continued rapid growth here in the U.S. and abroad.”
